An incredible season almost became historic for the boys track team last evening. The Panthers missed out on their first sectional championship by just 18 points finishing second to Bluffton. The Lady Panther track team competed in the Marion sectional last evening.  At stake is the opportunity to advance in the state tournament.   Audrey Altum was the lone person to advance last night.  Audrey placed third in the 100 hurdles which qualifies her for the Marion regional next Tuesday.  Altum also scored 6th place

The Lady Panther track team competed in the CIC championship at Oak Hill on Tuesday.  The ladies finish second place overall with 90 total points.  Oak Hill won the meet with 178 points. Boys Track Defends Grant 4 Ladies Place Second

The boys track team defended its Grant 4 title Friday night outscoring second place Oak Hill by 48 points.  The boys team scored 110 followed by Oak Hill with 62, Mississinewa 55, and Madison-Grant with 16.   The night started off with a great competition in the long jump.  Peyton Watson jumped a season best

The boys and girls track teams swept a three way meet with Madison-Grant and Frankton.  The girls won a close meet scoring 60 points.  Madison-Grant was second with 58 and Frankton scored 42.   Leading the way for the girls teams was Audrey Altum and Jordan Trout.  Altum was a double winner in the 100

The boys and girls track teams competed this weekend in the Eastern Relays.  The boys brought home their second trophy of the season with another total team effort.  The girls team placed 4th in the meet but were only 4 points out of 2nd place.   The boy’s team depth showed as the won 7

Track Teams Split With Oak Hill and Elwood

The boys and girls track teams split their meet with county rival Oak Hill and Elwood last evening.  The boys won the meet with 108.5 points.  Oak Hill was second with 45 and Elwood was third with 12.5.   The Panther boys won 14 of 16 events last evening.  Peyton Watson lead a balanced attack
