Eastbrook Athletics

The high school boys and girls cross country teams both placed third overall at CIC today. Josh Stotts led the way for the boys with a 6th place All-Conference finish and a 16-second lifetime PR of 17:23. Judah McGinness also finished with All-Conference honors, placing 9th with his second-fastest time ever of 18:11. Allen Shrontz (not pictured) was also named All-Conference Honorable Mention, placing 19th with a time of 19:21. Additionally, Ben Compson had a lifetime PR. Keaton Street, Jadden Shipley, and Precious Ayano also had season PR’s. The girls team was led by Alayna Bruckner, who marked her return to racing with a 3rd place All-Conference finish and a time of 21:26. Emma Ballinger also raced to All-Conference honors, placing 8th with a time of 22:32. Brooklyn Eastus (not pictured;12th) and Nayla Owens (19th) also won All-Conference Honorable Mention ribbons by placing in the top 20. Congratulations, Panthers! The team will now look forward to Sectionals in two weeks!
