The Panthers debuted a new look field and some awesome celebration lighting on Friday night at Jeff Adamson Stadium. Their opponent was a much improved New Haven Bulldogs team that destroyed the Marion Giants last weekend while not allowing Marion to score. Eastbrook came out strong, scoring on their first drive of the game only to have New Haven take the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown. The first half was a fight that ended with the Panthers being in a very unfamiliar position....trailing at halftime. The second half was more back and forth until the Panthers got some momentum and built a small lead in the third quarter. New Haven charged back and closed the gap, but Devin Stupples decided enough was enough and took a 19 yard run to put Eastbrook up in the final two minutes. New Haven tried to move the ball in the final minute but Freshman Bodie Howell intercepted a Bulldog pass to seal the victory. The Panthers start defense of the CIC title and possession of "Frank" on the road next Friday night at Oak Hill. Kickoff is at 7
