Eastbrook Baseball came out on the short end in both of Saturday’s home contests against Wabash, losing the first game 10-9 and the second 20-8. Brody Brodkorb was the starting pitcher in the first game for the Panthers going 2 innings, giving up 1 run and 2 hits. Cooper Craw went 3-4 at the plate and Luke Shearer hit another home run in the 3rd inning.
The Panthers were led offensively in the 2nd contest by Luke Shearer, Jett Engle, and Isaac Rans who all racked up multiple hits. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough as the opponent Wabash had 15 hits to win the game 20-8. The team will enter this week with a 3-7-1 record. Eastbrook is back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Alexandria.
