Panthers News · Panther Runners Earn Victories at Alex

The Panther track teams traveled to Alexandria for a three way meet with Alexandria and Blackford.  

The girls team won the event with 72 points.  Blackford was second with 49 and Alexandria had 35.  

Pacing the ladies was Olivia Howell with  three victories in the 400, 4×800, and 4×400 relays.  

Double event wins include Camden Chellis(100, 4×100), Emma Neargardner(100Hurdles, 4×100) and Emmerson Chellis (200, 4×100).  Winning one event Kristin Goff( Discus). 

Single event winners included:  Allyson Hiles(4×100), Laynie Craw, Clarie Lakanen, Lauren Felver (4×800), and Eden Brown, Rachel Manning, Lily McLaughlin (4×400)

The ladies are 3-0 with the Eastbrook Invitational coming up.

The boys team won scoring 79 points.  Blackford was second with 52 and Alexandria with 24.

The boys were led by Hayden Raikes with wins in the 110 hurdles, 300 hurdles, and high jump.   Jarek Castillo was also a three event winner in the 100, 200, and 4×100 relay.

Winning two events were:  Isaiah Dalton(400, 4×100), and Devin Stupples ( Long jump, 4×100).

Ruben Rangle was also part of the winning 4×100 relay team.  


In the evening 3 Eastbrook top 10 performances were achieved.  Kristin Goff moved into 5th in the girls discus with a throw of 110’4.  Olivia Howell moved into 4th with a time of 62. 78 in the 400.  Hayden Raikes tied for second with a leap of 6’4 in the high jump.


The boys are also 3-0 on the season.

Both Panther teams are back in action at home on Friday, April 16th for the Eastbrook Invite.
