Panthers News · Panthers and Warriors Baseball Ends in a Tie

A walk in the 7th inning helped Wes-Del battle to a 8-8 tie with the Panthers in Wednesday night’s contest at Eastbrook. The game was called due to darkness.

The Panthers collected a total of 12 hits lead by Connor Boyd who went 3-for-4 on the night. Luke Shearer got things going for Eastbrook went he hit homer in the 1st inning. Issac Rans, Cooper Craw, and Shearer also had multiple hits.

Unfortunately, the Panthers were plagued with an excessive amount of errors and walks on the defensive side. They were able to hold Wes-Del to just 2 hits.

The Panthers have no time to stay focussed on this contest, as they get back at it tomorrow evening at Muncie Burris. The game will be played at 5:00 pm at McCulloch Park located at 1200 Dr. MLK Blvd, Muncie, IN 47303.  Tickets for this game must be purchased online from Muncie Burris.
