The boys and girls track teams split their meet with county rival Oak Hill and Elwood last evening. The boys won the meet with 108.5 points. Oak Hill was second with 45 and Elwood was third with 12.5.
The Panther boys won 14 of 16 events last evening. Peyton Watson lead a balanced attack as the only double winner in individual events. Watson won the long jump and the 200m dash. Keaton Cooper(100m), Saxon Malonek(400m), Logan Gunning(300Hurdles), Channing Cook (3200m), Michael Neideck (1600m), Blayne Altum (high jump), and Jake Taylor (Discus).
Eastbrook was also victorious in all three relays. The depth of the Panthers showed as they scored two people in 11 of 13 open events.
The Lady Panthers placed second to Oak Hill with 49.5 points. Oak Hill won the meet with 84.5 points and Elwood was third with 26 points.
The ladies were led by Audrey Altum with victories in the 100 hurdles and long jump. Jordan Trout had the only other win in the 300 hurdles.
The Panther will be in action again on Saturday at the Eastern Relays. The meet will start at 10:30.
