The Eastbrook Panthers did all they could, but it wasn’t enough to get past Southern Wells , as the Eastbrook Panthers lost 8-5 in seven innings on Wednesday.

Bennet paced the Eastbrook Panthers at the plate. Bennet went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the first and third innings.

Ross Debonis brought the heat against Southern Wells during his outing. Debonis held Southern Wells hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out seven.

Dunnck got it done on the mound on the way to a win. He tossed four innings of shutout ball. He struck out four, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Debonis was the game’s losing pitcher.

The top of the first saw the Eastbrook Panthers take an early lead, 1-0. Bennet kicked things off for the Eastbrook Panthers with a single. A stolen base then moved Bennet from first to second.

Southern Wells answered the Eastbrook Panthers’ top inning with one run of its own in the first. Southern Wells scored on a sacrifice fly by Roush.

After a quick strike from the Eastbrook Panthers, Southern Wells responded with four runs in the second. Southern Wells scored on a home run by Huffman.

The game was never in doubt after the fifth, as Southern Wells scored one run on an error.
