Zach Ketring carried the Eastbrook Panthers to a 6-4 victory over Wes-Del on Wednesday with a strong game at the plate and on the hill.
Ketring boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 1-1 day at the plate to pace the Eastbrook Panthers. He doubled in the sixth inning.
Wes-Del couldn’t get anything going as long as Ketring was on the mound. Ketring held Wes-Del hitless over two-thirds of an inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none.
The game was back-and-forth heading into the sixth, with five lead changes.
The Eastbrook Panthers took the lead in the sixth inning and held on for the victory. A two-run error scored Bennet and Ketring and gave the Eastbrook Panthers the lead for good.

Ledbetter was charged with the loss. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out nine, and allowed three runs.
