Kody Graves hopes every outing could go as well as Wednesday, as Kody threw a shutout to carry the Panthers to a 4-0 victory over Southern Wells in seven innings.
The Panthers’ Kody kept Southern Wells off the scoreboard for all seven innings he was on the rubber. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on four hits while ringing up eight.
Nate Shaw went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for the Panthers. He singled in the first inning and homered in the third inning.
K Mooberry took the loss for Southern Wells. He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed one run.
The Panthers never surrendered the lead after the first inning, scoring two runs on two singles.
The Panthers scored one run in the third inning, and then followed it up with one more in the sixth. In the third, the Panthers scored on a solo home run by Nate.
